I personally prefer face-to-face meetings, but the remote meetings have recently become an essential part of a workflow, or even the only way of communication in various areas of business across the globe. We must admit that sometimes its really not necessary to run around, but instead get your client or partner on Zoom from any convenient spot for you (its really an advantage when you can work from the beach or even your own bedroom).
Many of us have already mastered their abilities to conduct professional meetings and workshops online. I've only collected some tips here that will help you to make this process better....
During the remote meeting
Introduce everyone. The video camera doesn't show every speaker throughout the meeting.
Have a small talk about family or a friendly chat about the weather before the start.
Remind of the meeting's goal and set a timeline for each speaker (if there is more than one).
Give people tasks to do and encourage them to accomplish them efficiently.
Be courteous to others and and ask participants to always contribute.
Be engaging at all times and keep the pace of the meeting..
